Welcome! I'm the founder, recipe developer, food stylist, photographer and digital content creator behind the Holland House Eatery blog and social media accounts.

I like to cook food that I feel good about feeding to my family. Quality homemade food from scratch doesn’t have to be a daunting experience! I’d love to be your resource for wholesome and approachable cooking, sharing recipes that are simple enough for the aspiring and average home cook.

I prefer to make my own spice blends, sauces and dressings. Simply knowing what the ingredients are in the food I eat is important to me. In my day-to-day, I do my best to avoid seed oils, artificial dyes, and junk chemical fillers when I cook from home, and even with the products I use on my body. However, I fully believe food should be an enjoyable experience free from guilt or shame. I don’t fret when I go out to eat or order an occasional coffee on the run. There’s a time and a place to enjoy everything.

My love for photographing the food I made was born from teaching myself how to cook around my kids' allergies. I’m also helping restaurants showcase their establishment and amazing dishes through stunning and storytelling visuals, as well as working with brand photography.

And most importantly, Jesus is my Savior and our {Holland} house serves Him. I love to share about His goodness so I hope you feel blessed seeing it sprinkled throughout around here. He has changed my heart, and I am so grateful for his grace and unwavering love. Feel free to send me a message if you ever wanted to talk about Him.

I hope to established myself not only as a resource for wholesome and approachable home-cooking, it’s also to ultimately inspire a love for food, as well as encourage you try something new!

Lord, please bless this food and the people who make it.

Let's eat!
