Magnesium Muscle Spray

Magnesium spray is wonderful for helping relieve muscle tension, aches, and pains by absorbing into the skin, which can promote relaxation and also potentially improve sleep quality.

What you'll need:
1/2 cup magnesium chloride flakes (not Epsom salt)
1/2 cup distilled water (to prevent contamination)
1 tsp optional additives (lavender essential oil, peppermint essential oil, or aloe vera for soothing properties)

How to make it:

  • Heat the Water. In a small pot, warm the distilled water until it’s hot but not boiling. Heating helps the magnesium dissolve faster.

  • Dissolve Magnesium Flakes. Pour the magnesium chloride flakes into a heat-safe glass jar or bowl. Add the warm water and stir until the flakes are completely dissolved.

  • Cool and Add Extras (*optional). Let the mixture cool to room temperature. If desired, add a few drops of essential oil and/or aloe vera gel.

  • Transfer to Spray Bottle. Pour the cooled mixture into a clean spray bottle for easy application.

How to Use:

  • Spray directly onto legs, arms, or sore muscles and gently rub it in.

  • Avoid broken or freshly shaved skin, as it may sting.

  • Let it absorb for about 20 minutes, then wipe off any residue if needed.
